ABOUT CHIEF ODUTOLA
Chief Timothy Adeola Odutola was an important contributor to Nigeria’s manufacturing sector, creating a multimillion-dollar conglomerate including three factories, a retail franchise, a cattle ranch, a 5,000-acre plantation, a sawmill, 2000-acre farmland, and an exporting business before the end of British colonial rule in 1960. Seizing business opportunities as he saw demand, Odutola moved between markets at every opportunity, creating companies servicing a diverse variety of needs. Odutola’s keen, unwavering interest in improving the infrastructure of Nigeria allowed him to enjoy a successful career in business and politics, despite the vastly fluctuating political landscape of Nigeria. From British rule through civil war and subsequent coups and countercoups, Odutola remained a popular leader for his commitment to promoting Nigerian business ventures. He was bestowed the Prime Minister, Ogbeni-Oja of Ijebu-Ode in 1956, and was the founder and first President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Odutola campaigned for manufacturing interests and consulted with government officials about national fiscal policy. As a statesman and as a business leader, Odutola worked tirelessly to improve the infrastructure of his country. He was the first Asiwaju of Ijebu Christians.
He owned many manufacturing businesses and partnerships. He also ventured into real estate and investment properties.
While some of Chief Odutola wives were diabolically forced onto him, and the paternity of some of his children has been questioned, Chief Timothy Adeola Odutola has many wives and reported has having 26 biological children (10 sons, 16 daughters).
Chief Odutola did not die in his sleep as widely reported. He was murdered by those close to him.
Chief Timothy Adeola Odutola had many wives, some of whom, were diabolically forced into his life. DNA testing, videos, audios, photographs, and court exhibits would undoubtedly reveal this fact.
Below are the women Chief Odutola either courted and formally married or were diabolically forced into his life:

MRS “ONALAJA” ODUTOLA
“First Wife Onalaja” was Chief Odutola’s first wife. Her father was a wealthy Ijebu merchant. She had two children with Chief Odutola, a son and a daughter:
Mr. Ademola Odutola, a businessman. Mr. Ademola Odutola worked with Chief Odutola for many years, contributing significantly to his farms and factories. Mr. Ademola Odutola later died under mysterious circumstances.
She also had Chief (Mrs.) Adebisola Okupe.
MAMA OLAYIDE
Chief Odutola was never married to “Mama Olayide.” She was previously a housemaid to his first wife, Mrs. “Onalaja” Odutola.
Despite this, she bore Chief Odutola’s first two children: a daughter, Mrs. Olayide Akin-Olugbade, and a son, Mr. Oladipo Odutola, a lawyer. Mr. Oladipo Odutola worked with Chief Odutola for many years, contributing significantly to his farms and factories. Later in life, she came to live with her son, Oladipo, in his apartment within the Odutola compound.

MRS ADENRELE ODUTOLA
Chief Odutola also married Princess Adenrele Ademola, an English-trained Nurse and remained working in London through World War II. She was the subject of a film, Nurse Ademola, made by the Colonial Film Unit.
Omo-Oba Adenrele was the first daughter of the late Alake of Egbaland, Oba Ladapo Ademola. Adenrele Ademola was also the sister of Sir Adetokunbo Ademola, the first Nigerian Chief Justice of the Federation.
Adenrele Ademola had no children and mysteriously disappeared and was never found.

MRS. GRACE “MAMA ELEBA” OGUNLESI
Mrs. Grace Ogunlesi, also known as “Mama Eleba” originally from Sagamu, was previously Mrs. Grace Sosanya before her relationship with Chief Adeola Odutola. She had two daughters, Mrs. Adebisi Bateye and Professor (Mrs.) Oyinade Olurin, the self-proclaimed heir of the Odutola family.
In the early 1930s, during Chief Odutola’s absence, other wives caught Grace Sosanya performing ritualistic acts within the family compound. Since Chief Odutola has traveled, they alerted Alhaji Jimoh Odutola, the Chief Odutola’s younger brother, who immediately ordered her to vacate the premises.
By 1936, Chief Odutola expelled her children both Adebisi and Oyinade from the family home, declaring that they were not his biological children. Nevertheless, members of Grace’s family continued to plead for their reinstatement. Eventually, Chief Odutola’s mother, Mrs. Otubajo Odutola, intervened, persuading him to accept them back. However, the lingering doubts surrounding their paternity led to the popular saying within the family at the time: “Bẹni Bẹ́kọ” (meaning “Are they or are they not?”).
Mrs. Adebisi Bateye is clearly not Chief Odutola’s biological daughter. She bore no resemblance to either her mother, Mrs. Grace Ogunlesi or Chief Odutola, that’s because she’s Mr. Sosanya’s daughter, Mrs Grace Ogunlesi’s first husband.
When Mrs. Grace Ogunlesi passed away in 1977, Chief Odutola refused to allow her remains to be brought into the family compound for burial rites, an honor he had previously granted to at least one other wife, specifically the mother of Mr. Sunday Odutola, who had also died during his lifetime. Despite passionate appeals from both Adebisi and Oyinade, he remained resolute in his decision. This act of rejection cemented a deep and lasting resentment toward Chief Odutola from both women.
Mrs. Grace Ogunlesi was widely reputed for her deep involvement in witchcraft. She held the title of Olóperè of Sagamu, a position of considerable spiritual significance that, to date, no other woman has ever occupied.

MRS “MAMA PUPA” ODUTOLA
Chief Odutola married “Mama Pupa”, who had a significant role in building his empire in the early stages. “Mama Pupa” had nine children, seven of whom died mysteriously at a young age. The two surviving children are:
Mr. Sunday Adedapo Odutola, an economist with MBA from Harvard University, who established two manufacturing plants in Lagos and Sagamu. Mr. Sunday Odutola worked with Chief Odutola for many years, contributing significantly to his farms and factories. Mr Sunday Odutola lost both businesses and mysteriously died.
Mama Pupa’s other surviving child is Chief (Mrs.) Folorunsho Adeuja, also an economist.

MRS “MAMA DUDU” SEGILOLA ODUTOLA
Chief Odutola married Segilola, popular known as Mama Dudu. She had 5 Children, 4 daughters and one son, Mrs. Adetoun Sodeinde, Mrs. Bimpe Sonaike, Mrs. Adesola Adeyemi, Mrs Adejoke Fadina, a Business Admin. graduate, and Mr. Adetokunbo Odutola. Mr Adetokunbo Odutola worked for Chief Odutola for many years
The paternity of some of her children has been a subject of public debate.

MRS “MAMA ONI BEER” ODUTOLA
Chief Odutola later married his friend “Mama Oni Beer”.
“Mama Oni Beer” had no children for Chief Odutola.

BEATRICE ARANMOLATE
Chief Odutola married Beatrice Aranmolate, with whom he had two children: a daughter, Mrs. Folashade Sofola, a pharmacist, and a son, Mr. Olufunmilayo Odutola.
Beatrice Aranmolate is extremely entrenched in witchcraft.
Chief Odutola later divorced Beatrice Aranmolate and asked her to leave his home due to her infidelity and diabolical behavior.
In later years, she resumed visiting her son, Mr. Olufunmilayo, who resided within the Odutola compound at the time. Mr Olufunmilayo Odutola worked for Chief Odutola for many years.
The paternity of both of her children have been questioned.
MRS ADUNOLA ODUTOLA
Chief Odutola married Adunola Towolawi, a school teacher and daughter of Chief S.O. Towolawi, an Ijebu cocoa merchant. Mrs. Adunola Odutola cared for Chief Odutola devotedly for over 40 years, providing him with tender, loving care, especially during the last 14 years of his life, when he suffered a stroke that left one side of his body paralyzed. She had eight of Chief Odutola’s children, 5 sons and 3 daughters, representing half of all his reported sons. Her children, in birth order:
Dr. Abisoye Odutola – Medical Doctor, Adeboye Odutola – Chartered Accountant, Olufemi Odutola – Lawyer, Aderemi Odutola – Engineer/IT Professional, Oladele Odutola – Industrial Chemist, Adetutu Odutola – Lawyer/MBA, Dr. Aderonke Odutola – Medical Doctor and Adegbola Odutola – IT Professional/MBA. Mr Olufemi Odutola and Aderemi Odutola both worked for Chief Odutola for a few years
Mrs. Adunola Odutola bathed and fed Chief Odutola in the morning of April 13, 1995, before he was whisked away, without her knowledge.

MRS. MODUPE ODUTOLA
Chief Odutola married Modupe Oduwole, who became his last wife. Before this, Modupe was one of the “sex workers” employed by a well-known madam, Alhaja Ayinke Aberuagba, who owned and operated a popular brothel located just a few meters from the Odutola compound on Odutola Street in Ijebu-Ode.
At one point, Modupe and her mother approached Chief Odutola, claiming that Modupe was pregnant. Given Chief Odutola’s longstanding public profile as a prominent politician and businessman in Nigeria, he agreed to let Modupe and her mother move into the family compound.
Shortly after settling in, Modupe claimed to have suffered a miscarriage. It wasn’t until the fifth year of living in the compound that she gave birth to her first child, Oyeyimika. Although there was no formal wedding ceremony, Chief Odutola eventually married Modupe Oduwole a few years after she and her mother had moved in.
Modupe would go on to have four children: 3 daughters and 1 son Mrs. Oyeyimika Adeboye, a Chartered Accountant; Mrs. Aderinola Onalaja, Mrs. Bolanle Akintoye-Akerele; and Dr. Adekoyejo Odutola, a Medical Doctor.
The paternity of these children has long been a subject of public debate.
